Help Needed!

I got a new external hard drive and I let it run all day... now when I got home I wanted to work on my work and open my files on that harddrive... it didn't open...

after trying to reboot etc there was a msg: powerboot on USB port.... and I don't hear my external harddisk run or something....

please help me with it...

try unpluggin it, uninstalling it, and reinstall it, and any drivers that came with it.

already done.. but normaly when I'm starting my external HD you can hear it.. now i cant..... he don't do a thing...

lol alredy done that.. I brot it back to the shop today/.... lost 60gig of my data for school and stuff that suckss realy bad..
