just over clocked my quad core from 2.4 to 3

so i upped the FSB from 266 - 333, changed the multier from 6 (orginaly set this wey) to 9 and change the voltge and another couple of things i seen from a video on youtube.

Now i am reading my cpu temps which are grand, a stable 30-35c's

I am using CoreTemp and CPU-Z, but the keep flicking from 6 - 9 on the multiplier. Why does this do this and how do i keep it permanently at 9? sometimes they arnt in snyc either?

any ideas??

Thanks

Whenever you're overclocking, you must turn off the C1E and EIST (or Speedstep) features in the BIOS.

These features throttle the CPU's frequency down whenever the CPU is not on load to consume less power.
