Upgraded from 19" to 24" Monitor, Now Freezes

I upgraded from a Westinghouse 19" LCD to a new Acer 24" P244w monitor. It looks great.

However my pc now gets the blue screen of death randomly now. saying Hardware_Driver_Not_Less_or_Equal or something like that.

I have:

E6400
GIGABYTE 945P-S3
2 GB G.SKILL DDR2
MAXTOR 200GB and Western Digital 120GB
ATI RADEON 2900XT
PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W PSU

Any ideas? I really don't want to reformat my PC.

Update your video drivers and make sure you have the latest drivers for your lcd.

I updated the ATI drivers to the latest and installed Acer ADM which includes a monitor driver. It seems to help and makes the corrupt file yellow balloon go away, but I can still get the bluescreen, even though is it less frequent.
