5.56Ghz??

In my system info, it states that my processor is running at 5.56Ghz, however cpu-z says 4.1Ghz. From what I knew, it was 4.1...why is windows giving me a different reading?

CPU-Z will be correct, 5.56 on an E8500 would be insane :freak: Not sure why it's doing that.

The system info is just reading it at the stock multiplier.

My system does the same exact thing,I run my e2200 @ 3ghz 24/7 with a 10x multi but in the system info it shows it @ 3.3ghz because its reading the stock 11x multi

Im running at the stock multi of 9.5x. I restarted the pc, now it's back down at 4.1
