So a friend has an LCD monitor. At first the led power light would jsut come on for a seocnd, then out, then out, then nothing. Now even that light won't come on.

This sound like a power supply? If so, how difficult/cost effective is replacing a PS ont hese LCDs? I'v enot worked with one yet, and I remember CRTs were considered junk once the PS inside went out to do safety issues.

The monitor is a Spectre x9g Komodo IV.

TIA guys.

Hello,

The only available solution would be to have it sent to Sceptre for out of warranty repair (assuming it is out of warranty), and even this may not be viable in terms of cost.

Unfortunately, it seems that the best solution would be to buy a new monitor.
