New and will use search function

Hi I'm Keith and I'm nOOb.... but I do know to use the search function before I ask a question that you folks have taken the time to answer many times already. With that being said, I probably won't be starting any new threads but I do appreciate the time that all of you have put in to build this wealth of information. I'm just looking to do what I think you guys call a clean install on my wife's Dell (p4) running XP. I figure since the computer is about 5 years old that this would be the best thing to do since it has picked up a lot of crap ware over the years. Well just wanted to introduce myself and I'm off to hit the search button and educate myself. Thanks in advance for your patience with my ignorance.
