Help With Gaming Computer ~1500 budget

Hi all, I could use some advice on what parts to get for the best bang for my buck. I want to use the computer to play games like FarCry2, TF2 and Dragon Age when it comes out, with room for upgrades in the future. 1,500 is really the max i would like to spend so if i could build a solid computer for a little less that would be welcome. The only thing I really have picked out so far is the monitor, it's not as huge as some other ones but being used to a 18" CRT I think i'll be just fine with it. I plan on taking the parts into a local computer dealer to toss them some business, they said they would put it together for me and install the OS for 150.
