He doesn't really need an upgrade persay, but he wants to use dual monitors. He mainly plays online poker and older games, so the graphics card he has does what it needs to...just doesn't support dual monitors because its onboard.

Awesome. Really appreciate the advice.

I Just want to make sure that Galaxy card is better, or the same performance, as his Integrated Intel® GMA X4500HD Graphics, and also that his 250W power supply will work for it? If those 2 criteria are met, then I think ill go with that Galaxy...

Yea, the 8400gs is significantly better than x4500. Looking at the Slim's specs it does have a x16 PCI-E slot. And the power supply should be able to handle it.

the newegg reviews say it should work with a 250W psu from Dell...

It sounds like for what he does he wouldn't notice any performance difference between the two, it's more expensive and not in stock.

I'd just stick with the 8400gs
