Hi there I was wondering if this card:

is better than this card:

My cousin's Dell has the integrated one and wanted to know if upgrading to the second one would allow him to do everything he does now and more. Appreciate any help

Definitely not... an HD 4500 would be like a 7300GS card... that card is slower than a 7300GS.. so its a point less upgrade

The problem I face is that he only has a 250W psu and he wants to get a card that will support dual monitors, but I don't want to downgrade from the integrated graphics he already has....any ideas?

Why not buy a cheap PC Power and Cooling PSU (since they make Dell Upgrade PSU's)

That's probably the best idea ever, making replacement PSUs for Dells.

apparently they have a special psu in them, and I don't see the model on the list for that site vernong1992 suggested.

same graphics card, reccomends 300W, but ive heard that dell underestimates theirs, so maybe his 250w would work? I don't really want to take the chance and buy it though unless im sure.

This seems harder than it should be for him just wanting to use dual monitors...

To be honest, I have no clue...one way or the other, you should update that PSU. I'm not sure which kind would fit with that case..

For a slim desktop like that, he would need a TFX psu. Something like this should be able to power that card:

But it doesn't have a PCI-E power connector. A molex adapter would have to be used.
