Error Loading Os

Earlier, I accidently clicked on StandBy instead of Shut down, I didnt know what standby was, so i decided to restart the computer after the standby process was complete(when the screen goes black). Now whenever I restart my computer, right before windows loads, I get a message after ---

Verifying DMI Pool Data.............

: ERROR LOADING OS

I know what this is(error starting windows), but how could i fix this?

try booting in safe made and bring it out of standby or disable it .

The Error Message is before my chance for safe mode.

nah, its before ur computer gets that far, when your computer is doing the memory checking or just after it POST's hold down F8 and then you will get a few options of how you want to boot your system. There will be dos, safemode, safemode with network and a few others, just chose the safemode (not with network or whatever else safemode can be booted with). then follow Cappy's instruction.
