Hey everyone, as the title says I will be posting a new build about every week. So without ado, here is the specs for the first and some teaser pics.

I would have got an Asus Xonar over that XFI, and way overkill on the PSU, but otherwise looks awesome. :)

i would guess he is building for somebody else, i dont know anyone that would be building a new pc every week for themselves ;) hehe.

he could be making more money with the overkill :)

I would agree that some of the choices could have been better. However, the customer chooses what they like, rather than what they really need.
 
I dont think its overkill, when ocing power usage can really get up there.

Stock the system pulls a good 600watts from the wall already.

Nah, I doubt 600W. Maybe 450-500.
 
Hard drives don't really use much power. I was saying actual system usage, not from the wall. Could have easily got by with a 650-750W PSU.
