1k for a cpu? really? my sis got "had" by dell on that pc $3200

nothing else notable.
her ram doesnt even get 5.9 on the vista score.

Rofl, nice. I didn't say I was going to buy it, but if I WAS going to buy a CPU that expensive, it wasn't going to be the 9770. Even in my dreams I'm trying to save a few bucks, rofl.

I can't wait to pick up my 7750. God I'm going to be so happy that I can actually, you know, DO THINGS.

I wonder how high I could OC it...and how good my PI would be...hmm.

i had some fun with the 7750, wish i tested on it more, but was too quick to sell it.

Laptop ram is always craptastic. When n00bs try to build "gaming" laptops that's one of the things they always forget about. laptop ram is equivalent to desktop ram 3 years ago. The hard drives are also slower, and the cpus and video cards are always "mobile" versions that don't perform as well.

i was talkin bout her desktop ram in her qx9650 rig

she gets 5.9 on cpu, both graphic tests, and hard drive

5.6 or 5.7 for ram. even my old A-Data ddr2 800 scored 5.9
they must have given her some real craptastic ram

i estimate a 12.xxx run with the clock @ 3.7

That's a bit ambitious expecially seeing as Superpi only uses a single core.

Plus at 3.78ghz and 4-4-4-12 timings I only got 13.515s

Only passed below 13s at 3.95ghz.

i dont think a e6600 is the same as a qx9650 even @ single core

i was basing my predictions off of
phikmans q9450 @ 3.6 =12.875s
its nearly the same chip as phikmans.

but her craptastic ram may slow it down
