I have cannot give negative reputation to your test account, only positive.

But seeing as it turned grey, there's a high chance that it might actually turn orange, and/or red. But maybe it'll just stay grey.. I'll bet on the latter.

I did an assortment of the member's reputation and noticed it does turn red. So it goes green -> grey -> red.

neg rep just hasn't been applied to all user groups i'd imagine. I wasn't sure if it was applied as such or not so I threw in my 2 cents about it.

Yes. I have gotten at least 3 different people to rep me for one of the sticky threads i have created. So it is very possible to receive rep for the same post.
