If you have not applied for the warranty yet you should be able to get a much better price for your 4830. There is 4870 going on the forum atm if you don't mind secondhand;

I just ran 3DMARK 06 and scored a 13,712. SM 2.0 score:5522 SM 3.0 score: 6317 CPU score 3870? Seems like it should be higher. What do u guys think? I really want to maximize my performance. The cpu is running great , so what's with the low cpu score? My RAM timings 5-5-5-15?

wtf, i have a q66 @ 3.6, oc'ed 4850, and it barely makes 14k, at stock i get like 12.5k. isnt that a little low compared to his?

Try reducing 3D levels in ATI Catalyst Control Center and update drivers at AMD's site

Gurusan said that his q6600 scored better than a higher clocked e8400 in 3dmark06... I'm not sure

I'm running my 4830 @ 690/1190 (O.C.) Have u tried manually overclocking with ATI'S CCC?
