Problem with display *help needed*

So I just built a new computer a few weeks ago and everything was working fine until a few days ago when I booted the pc up but nothing would display on my monitor it just stayed black.

I then tried on multiple monitors but I kep on getting the same result. I opened the pc and everything seemed to be running fine like the cpu fan etc. Does anybody know what the problem is, it would be much appreciated if you could help.

I had this recently on my mom's computer and it was the cable to the monitor. Since you have used several monitors, I would assume you used different cables, too.

Have you tried booting into safe mode (hitting F8 while the computer is POSTing)? Or have you tried a different source for your video output (tried using onboard instead of GFX, or the reverse) to see if it would work?

Have you tried reseating your video card?
