Hi,

I am building a gaming PC,

*antec three hundred cooling case
*Intel core2duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz X 2 processor
*Intel DG35EC Classic motherboard
*2 X 2GB DDR2 SDRAM 800MHz
*XFX Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX
*Active Power PSU 850W

But I am having problem when I play games or use photoshop or even watch video.

my computer gets too much heat up and produces the screatching sound.
even I have 4 big fans in my casing (2 infront & 2 at back)

I cant figure out whats making it so heatup, and produce screatching sound.
what should I do....
should I change PSU
should I change processor
or should I change motherboard
or should I get cooling fan for processor

temp monitor software shows that cpu and system egts too much heatup.
and what is the system ????

can anyone guide me ????

:confused::confused::confused:

THANKS FOR THE REPLY

yes my cpu fan is running OK. its also mounted correctly and thermal pasted.
but do I need big heatsink for the cpu.
right now I am using original fan which comes with pack of processor.

I think the censor are ok ... because when it heats up it starts producing screatching sound and my computer gets jammed or it restarts itself.

Remount your heatsink. Sometimes they have a plastic cover protecting them make sure and take them off. You only need about a rice grain of thermal paste for a dual core. Do not put too much on.

100+C on a 45nm dualie

I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't boot at all if you kept it on a few more days
