I have a 22¨ ViewSonic 1080p monitor. I am a moderate gamer, i like to mess with video editing and adobe CS4. I am not a Crysis player or fallout 3 or anything, I just want to really see the 1080p in effect! Will the 9600GT be sufficient or will I not see the 1080p to it's potential? I am in Panama and computer parts here are crazy expensive, the 9600GT is $134! I see on Newegg it is $85 after a $20 rebate! a 9800GT cost $165, HD4850 is $190 here also. I want to spend as little as possible but I want to make sure I am getting it right! :p

any comments would be greatly appreciated!

my specs:
ASRock alivenf6 mobo
Corsair 550W PSU
Thermaltake M9 case
1x2GB SuperTalent ram ddr2 667
Phenom X3 8650 2.3GHZ
and soon a Sun Beam Core Contact Freezer
I have picked all of these things up one by one over the many months which is why it may look like an odd setup haha

I'm trying to go inexpensive, i was just kind of using the 4850 price as an example of the high prices here. I guess my main question is will the 9600 work for my 1080p? I don't plan to do much more with programs and games then what I am doing now. The 9800GT has DVI in the description as the others have DVI and/or HDMI..I am guessing a DVI-HDMI cable is all I will need for the 9600?
