Thats because they were nvidia chipsets. These are intel chipsets. My evga has been rock solid and i can hit 4.5ghz on water :)

I just dont trust biostar. Maybe they have come farther, but i still see them as the kia of the motherboard industry. Why buy a kia when i can get honda for the same price :)

I can see where you're going with that, veedub. I used to hate Biostar for the poor quality boards they used to have...they are getting better, though. But I have heard nothing but gold about the EVGA as well.

EDIT: Well, with your monitor, I would just say get whichever you feel like spending money on. Either a single 260 or 295. The 295 will have much better performance, but I don't know if it would be worth it at your resolution.

I've seen the CPU 50 cheaper off another website, You can choose what hard drive you want. the prices range (70 bucks for a WD 7200rpm 650 gig, 120$ for a WD 1TB black, raptor, etc..)

The power supply is the best on the market and will last you for this build and your next. The Asus and corsair ram work perfect together...I have the same combo but with the Asus RampageII. I also have this cpu cooler, works great...overclocked the cpu to 3.2ghz, temps around 30-32c.
