Raid 0, opnions wanted.

how good is norton ghost? any body had success with it?

I've tried imaging to an array from a standalone and never was able to get it to work. Couldn't hurt to try though. As hef said, it's not like you'd be into it a whole bunch.

Norton Ghost is okay, but I prefer Acronic True Image. Either will run in a bootable environment so you can just image right away (without having to install Windows first).

well i was thinking of doing what hef said,

install raid array

boot off of 80gb primary

mirror it to raid array

then boot off of raid.

hopefully it will work.

You can try that but keep in mind there's the chance of data loss and Windows not working at all.

You basically have two choices. The easy way or the hard way. Hard way being safer.

But it does not matter. He still has the old drive with the os and all of his data. he is only wasting an hour or two to try.

Or playing a little more Fallout 3 .
