2006 Fujitsu laptop, w/WindowsXP not accepting USB cable

So glad I found this site cause I have asked numerous people including my supposedly techy sons and they have no clue how to fix my laptop.

My laptop was fine and working properly before today, I inserted cable to print and a blue screen came up telling me there was a problem. I tried recharging my shuffle same thing and now tried to download photos from my flip cam and my camera and it won't work. What should I do? and is this something that can fix it?

Had you installed any drivers just before it happened?
Like Printer ones?

Yes, but it was working before, my dh downloaded a manual but that's it.

Did you link to tuneup advisor for a reason? As if you used that, god knows whats happened in there now.l
