well, i'm planning 2 build a com n was wondering if i should get a CRT or LCD monitor. i've heard that CRTs r better 4 gamin n all but is it really that noticeable? coz my bro n dad said that they wud pay 4 d monitor if i did well 4 my exams. so since they r buyin 4 me, y don't i jus get d lcd, which is more ex than d crt. then, i wud b able 2 save a lot on d monitor. pls give me comments on this. thanx a lot!!

Well, if you are going to get an LCD, you have to get a high end one (16ms or lower) if you don't want a ghosting effect in games. I have had a 25ms LCD before, and believe me, it does suck for gaming. Get a good flat-screen CRT, they are awesome and not too expensive.

always get CRT if there's enough space on your desk
only get LCD to save space on your desk
