acer ax1700 temperature on system fan hot

I have an acer aspire ax1700 and in one of the acer esetting prog. it said on the system section "fan 47c then below fan speed n/a" .

Found out here on this forum that acer locks the bios. I e-mail acer and they sad to go to the bios and turn fan always on, but do not know how to do it.

I wrote back but they take a day or two to answer.

Any one with any kind of susgestion?

i don't think i under stand what your saying. are you worried about CPU temps?. sorry if you made it obvious im quite tired at the moment.

when we say they have a locked bios it means that alot of the options are locked, it doesnt mean u cant get into it

when you first power on your computer, it should say at the bottom press "key" to enter system set up, or something along those lines

they key can be the following:
F1
F2
Delete
ESC
F10

but is most commonly Delete, if it says DEL it means delete

once your in you bios look around until you see something along the lines of fan control and change it to always on or 100% or something, all bios are different so i cant tell you exactly what it will be.

also the fan in your pc is prolly just set to auto meaning if your pc gets to hot it will turn on untill it gets back into reasonable temps, i wouldnt really worry about it to much, 47C isnt a dangerous temp
