I currently have windows xp sp3 installed with a C2d E7200 processor running at 3.6ghz with good temps. What I want to do is install windows vista 32bit (I can't upgrade to 64 because I have an OEM copy), add two more gigs of ram, and then boost the processing speed to 3.8ghz with a 1:1 FSB:RAM ratio and vcore of around 1.385. The potential problem with this is that I have DDR2 800 OCZ ram that is currently running at 920ghz with 4-4-4-15 timings and an increased voltage. The other ram I will be using is DDR2 800 ADATA ram that uses 5-5-5-15 timings. My plan is to combine the ram together to make there be four gigs total and have them all run at 5-5-5-15 timings at the stock voltage for the lower end ram. I am thinking that this would work since I will have a FSB:RAM ratio of 1:1 and all the ram will be running at around 805mhz. What do you guys think? I am doing this for dx10 support in the future and the ability to run 3dmark vantage.
