Well, ive got 500pound to spend on a motherboard, RAM, processor and a new PSU and i need a little advice on what i should buy.

I dno if i want a quadcore or not, i play CoD4 as my main game and would want it to last around 8 months, i am going to be overclocking btw.

Ohh and I already have a HD4870 so i need a decent PSU.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT : i want to use such sites as Computer Hardware - All - Scan.co.uk www.overclockers.co.uk Cheap Laptops, Hard Drives, LCD Monitors, TVs and more at Ebuyer and ofcourse, if you know any better sites please tell me, thanks.

which would be best price/performance, amd or intel? i see the phenom II is cheap and rican loves his, the performance hes getting is good aswell.

ohh and, ive got an extra 100pounds with the parts you recomended, would upgrading to an e8500 make a big difference in performance, im overclocking too.

The 750TX more than likely. It has a single 12v rail and has 2 8pin PCI-E connectors if you decide to get a more power hungry card down the road.
