Ok i have just ran 3dmark vantage 2 times in a row and got a strange result both times. My gtx260 scored just under 10k both times, which seemed to match other 260s. But my q6700 @ 3.0ghz scored around 34k both times. I know this is way to high and am wondering why it is giving me this score. This score was higher than the fastest system on the 3dmark list, i know that it is wrong. This is boggling my mind.

Here is a break down of what it is telling me.
3dmark score - P11908 3DMarks
cpu score - 34386
graphics score - 9777
Result name - Untitled
Date - Jan 30, 2009 09:42 CST
OS - Microsoft Windows Vista
cpu - Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6700
CPU Speed - 3000 MHz
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
Memory - 4096 MB

Everything seems right except that cpu score.

Ahh that makes sense. I was just looking and comparing some more on there and it was the physics test that my cpu was ahead in, behind in the AI compared to faster cpus.

They need to release a patch to seperate the two, possibly have a physics test for both the GPU and a seperate one for the CPU, because that can really throw CPU scores off... Wonder if PCMark is getting strange scores because of that...
