Nukem pretty much summed it up except for the side fans.

Both should be used for intake as 1 blows on the video card and the other blows on the cpu

Better hope that your standard fans aren't too noisy.
I've got a Lian Li and the Adda fans are way too noisy.
The top offender was the chimney stack (top) fan though.
I replaced it with a Zalman and it's much less annoying noise although less CFM for sure. But less noise is worth it imo.
