Will these ram work together?

At the moment i have this in my computer

and i just bought this since its $5 after rebate

will the two work well together? or should i sell the second set i bought since it will technically cost me $4.99

They will work together, but depending on your board, i am only familiar with AMD boards, the board may limit the speed of the ram to the next lowest speed because of the slots all being full.

motherboard: gigabyte EP35-DS3P

I have 2 slots in use with each stick being 2gb, and these will take up the last 2 slots each of these being 1 gb

You're dealing with two different types of memory with the xms series being performance memory seeing different timings as well as the Cas latency. 5-5-5-18 to 4-4-4-12 doesn't work together.

They will work together, but not for pure performance, he never asked about the performance.

Two different types of memory(standard, performance/gaming type) plus the wide gap in timings would be the immediate problems seen. It's best to run the same type with much closer timings even if the brands were different.
