Depends on the board you choose, but remember that some cards do have multiple things on one card.. and most likely the case you selected has a frontal Firewire Port that you can plug into later on

But what I meant was, wouldn't it be a disadvantage if I had two LCI's less for other future upgrade options?

Well yes, but most people don't use every PCI slot anyways
