This is what it says on the specs of the cards.
Minimum of a 680 power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 46 Amp Amps.)
An available 6 pin PCI-E power connector and an available 8 pin PCI-E power connector

Although it says 680w, a good 600+ watt will do the job. Remember when buying a PSU, look at the amps...most important thing.

Also for ram, get (3 x 1GB) or (3 x 2GB). You want to run in tri-channel mode.

wow guess people really overestimate the powersupply they need

I thought he would need more but I guess it's the quality of the PSU that's most important (not to mention the 12v rails)

I'd recommend either a Corsair TX 650 or 750 (the number also being watts); I have a 750 and it's very good.

im running my q9450 at 3.7 right now with an XFX BE core 216 OC'd (which calls for 40A according to XFX...NOT 38A as according to newegg specs...putting my psu 1A above recommended :p) with a 550vx...and i have zero problems. its all about the quality.
OP i'd go with the corsair 750tx....it has plenty enough amps and will leave you a bit of headroom as well. the 650tx will cover your needs, but the 750tx is like 10 bucks more and has 8 more amps on its rail (60 vs 52).
