Video Card suggestions.

Whut up yall.

So i got this DFI DK P35-T2RS 3 gigs of ram and a Conroe E6750, and i've had my old 7900gs in there for quite some time and have been thinking it's time to swap it out.

Haven't been really reading too much about whats going on with video cards, but I want some recommendations.

Never really been too much of a fan of ATI for various reasons, but its never to late to change your mind.

Oh, and im running on an Enermax Liberty 400 watt.

Well if you're power supply is a decent $400, a good upgrade would be an ati hd 4670. Fits right into the 400 watt power supply range.

No, recommended for an hd 4670 is a 400 watt. If he has a decent quality one it should be enough to supply it the power it needs.

HD4830 or the HD4850 for mid range, 4830 overclocks well on the memory up to 1Ghz.

Any HD48x0 card is not gonna be able to run on a 400 watt power supply.

You think? My 4830 box says it will run on 470w. I didn't realise it was that demanding.

Well if a 4830 box says that it will run on a 470w, why would you recommend it to someone who potentially has a lower quality 400 watt?
