BIOS version 3.08 for Asus P5BW-LA wanted

Hello,

I want the BIOS version 3.08 for my Asus P5BW-LA mobo.
Can't find it on HP's site.
Anyone can post the dumped ROM?
Very, very much apreciated for any replies with suggestions,
concerning installation.

Are you trying to overclock or just reset to an older than current bios? You could try a retail bios but the chances of bricking your board are pretty high.

I wanna have the older, original version of my BIOS file.
This because of system fans are working harder through upgraded BIOS.
No overclocking purposes.

Retail BIOS:
HP has got no older, original BIOS files at their site...
I unwantedly upgraded my BIOS with a wrong mouse-click,
and that update proces couldn't be stopped.

So I hope someone can dump and post the rom or bin file.
I already know how to install a BIOS file for my Phoenix BIOS.

You're probably not going to be able to get that version. I googled around a little bit, other people are having the same issue, with no solution except "buy quieter fans". You can try contacting HP, but other people did and no such luck.

Currently l'm waiting for HP's reply....
Maybe one of the visitors on this board could help me out with an original BIOS...

In the mean time:
Anyone has brand names for "quiter fans", and what's more
I can't control these with my current mobo.
My problem now is that during gaming about 0.5 hour the system
fans are suddenly working real hard (noise) for a couple of seconds,
which wasn't the case before my unwanted BIOS upgrade.
