Core i7 Build For $1000?

I'm trying to put together a Core i7 build for $1000. Here's what I have so far for $1200.

Plan on using my current case, hard and disk drives.

For starters you could drop the sound card for now and use onboard sound. -$89.

Maybe go with an ati 4850 to make up the rest but I would find a way to keep the 260.

Could...and will definitely consider it, especially now that I see the mobo has an optical input. Other options?

using a 3 GB kit vs the 6 GB kit should save some money

I recommend getting a C2Q, if you only have a $1000 budget. That way, you can get a graphics card, and a sound card.

CPU: Q9550 (Prices are going down for it)
Mobo: Biostar TP45HP
Gfx card: 4870 1GB
RAM: Gskill PI blacks

You should get all of these from newegg, and I recommend getting as 850TX, instead of a 750TX, because it's only $20 more. There's no point of an i7 build, if you don't have 3 or more graphics cards in the same rig, might might as well go with a quadcore.
