I haven't been following amd prices but apparently they've gone down.

CPU3D.com / AMD drops quad-core Phenom processor pricing / Price Cuts Everywhere basically just says hey they went down.

That's good news to hear since I've been one for the next build. But by then the prices will likely have fallen even more!
