Ok, so, I got this 250gb MDT haddrive, and when I first got it, with my last main hdd, it would show up in the bios and in device manager but I couldnt access it. Now, 3 days ago, I got a new main hdd, and started with a fresh Windows XP install (service pack 3) and I'm having the same issues, my 250gb harddrive shows up in the bios, and device manager, but not anywhere else. I cant remember how, or who I had fix it last time, and me and my father both have spent the past 3 days trying to figure it out and we cant.
Sorry if this isnt the right place, I wasnt sure if this was a hardware problem or a software problem, either way, any help would be greatly appreciated, and hopefully a way to fix this without reformatting my 250, because its pretty much full of a lot of things I dont want to lose lol.
