Laptop won't power up

I closed my laptop yesterday and I heard it beep a couple times, like it was shutting down. When I opened it and turned it on the screen wouldn't come on so I reset it. Now i hit the power button, the lights turn on and then right back off. If i try a couple times the computer will turn on but the screen doesn't turn on and the computer doesn't appear to be booting because i do not hear the windows sounds.

Sounds like a power issue, have you ensured that your power adapter is working properly? Do you have an extra battery that you could try, my guess is that it isn't getting power - either the power adapter is dead or the adapter inside the laptop has come off. If it is the inside adapter you'll either need to solder it or purchase a new MB.

thanks it check it was still under store warranty. I took it in they said it looks like the mother board

Then have them replace it if it is under manf. or store warranty.
