Computer going to sleep and not coming back on.

Recently my I have left my computer alone for about an hour or so, enough to let it fall asleep and it has not come back on, It did this in windows vista and windows 7. I press buttons on my keyboard, move the mouse around press the power button and it doesn't come back; I have to hold the power button for 4 seconds to shut it off.

Also as a side note sometimes when I turn it on I get a blue power light, the fans spin for about a half second and nothing happens accept the blue power light, could that have anything to do with it?

Have you tried getting out of the sleep mode by pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del? It could be that it's locking when going to sleep.

Nope, next time it does that I will try though.

Also make sure your drivers are up to date. I had a similar problem which was solved by disabling PCI Express Link State Power Management. Look under the advanced power options......
