dvi to component question

They won't fit, there are different kinds of dvi plugs, just because it's dvi doesn't mean that it will fit. There's DVI-I, DVI-D, DVI-A, etc.

Go to newegg and take a look at the picture of the adapter plugs and the motherboard dvi socket closely. You'll see that it won't fit.

^^yes, if you notice, the mobo does not have the four pin-holes above and beneath the flat blade plug. the adapter does. that adapter is for specific cards, not onboard video conversion.

this is one of the only ways to hook up a mobo like that to component.

and its iffy. i'd just buy a cheap 72-7300gs. they're only like 25 bucks.
