Sounds like you need space then... I'd say for for the 2, 750's like what was posted before, or go for the 1TB(s)... but either way I wouldn't use the Seagate ones until they fix the firmware, and the ones in stores are gone.

I believe they did fix the firmware problem a while ago. I've had a 1.5tb seagate for about 3 weeks and have had no problems at all. Unless theres other problems now...

As far as space goes, are you just saving movies to the drives or are you video editing? Its very very easy to max out 2tb of drive space if your big into video editing.

This is simple, just tell us approximately how much space your looking for right now. You can always add more hard drives later on if needed.

i do more saving than anything but i would say about 35-40% i'll edit...how much space is on the 1TB?

951GB after windows formatting, but like brinks said... it's easy to add a HDD later if needed.

For advertising 1tb = 1000gb. So in reality theres probably about ~930gb.
