also if im missing any other parts that i would need to go to my computer could u please help me fill them in

What are you going to be using this for and what is your budget...

if you search in the forum sections, you can also find people who have builds that we have helped... Some of those might be better to look at instead of getting 40 posts of the same thing... "Get this, it's better", or "Don't use that, it sucks" etc, etc, etc...

i do alot of dl and upin and convertin and other things that im not at liberty to say haha

You've got 8GB of RAM there, unless you are running 64bit XP or Vista, your OS won't recognize all of it. Plus, you probably really only need 2GB, maybe a MAX of 4GB for anything you are planning on doing.
Heck, I run Autodesk Inventor 2009 Professional with 4GB and I've never seen the thing skip a beat.

It is, but unless you are running a 64bit operating system, the RAM won't even been 'seen', so therefore it would be a waste to buy and install. 2GB is all you'll need, I have 4GB because I run Windows XP x64 and because I do 3D CAD at home. If it weren't for that, I'd only have 2GB.

2GB of ram seems like it will be fine for your needs WooBree. It would be handy to know your budget too please.
