omg.. can you spend $500?

I can spend how much I want, its just the fact that I'm still in high school, and only work a minimum wage job.

I still gotta pay for my phone bill and car insurance though :S

Will take a little over 1 paycheck to have that much free cash, but yes, why?

I would still go with the E5200, especially if you plan on overcloking. You can save a lot of money on the motherboard compared to what was suggested before.

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Also if you can wait a few weeks the e5200 is supposed to drop to $70.

4gb of ram isn't really necessary, 2gb is fine for gaming.

Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

OCing a piece of equipment can be a good way to safe money. Plus, there are guides far and wide out there to walk you through it.

Then learn to overclock, like you did to build a computer! :D

I haven't really learned to build a computer yet, I'm still going to have to do a lot of research on how take out cpu and replace ect ect, and if I was to OC, I'm sure I'd have to get new fans too ><
