Not half bad.

A look I want to try is do a window mod with either smoked/tinted or mirrored acrylic.

Looks good, size of window for me depends on the case. For example, my 900 has HDD/DVD bays the full height of the case so I figured no point in putting a window to show that, so it got a mid size window offset to the left showing just the components.

anyone got any "basic" idea's for the front panel?

just remember, my tools are limited to just a dremel and a saw and a few screw drivers.

also remember, im not the most crafty person when it comes to hand cutting stuff.

No it wouldn't fit at all. They're different dimensions and shapes.

I like the small window here actually. It makes the case look larger, and looking in at just the graphics cards is really awesome. Great job!
