Good graphics over cpu in gaming bar a few rts like total war where there are so many physics calculations they are shared between the cpu and graphics card. If you want a good caming pc get

cpu: E8400 or Q9450 (if your a serious multitasker or media editor)
ram: 4gb of the corsair xms2 dhx (they are $30 after rebate down from $110)
mobo: Nvidia 7*0 chipset
gfx sli'd 260 core 216
heatsink: True -extreme 120
case: full tower antec 1200
