Yeah but I think they are arguing whether or not the 8800 GTS (G92 Version) is better then the 4830 or not.

Looking at benchmarks, yeah its a better performer.

Wow the 4830 is more powerful then I thought I max out fallout 3 with no AA but everything else max I don't mind my frames hovering around 20-30 though so its all relative. I am expecting a even bigger improvment when I get my gtx260 216 with one 8800 as dedicated physx. I nearly bought it yesterday but restrained myself which is a rarity

i max it out with 4x aa and get in the 60fps + range.
and hwen i had a single 8800gts i still got in the 50's. with 4x aa.

I play at 1920x1200 and its sli 640mb's in question the second best cards 2 years ago nearly 3 years old for my original the second is only a year old assuming the guy didn't lie as it is second hand

looking at stock 3dmark 06 points with a qx 6850 the 8800gts g92 is faster then the hd4830 by quite a nice chunk. the hd4830 with a qx6850 at 3.68 got 12766 and the 8800gts g92 scored 13925 on a q6600 clocked at 3.0 the same as the qx6850.

also keep in mind 3dmark 06 is ati favorable.

so 8800gts g92>hd4830.

But as far as I know, AMD's new architecture loathes 3dmark06 and its the other way around, and I think its slightly slower in performance..

But 3dmark06 likes G92/GTX 200 series cards better now.. (I guess AMD traded benchmarking value for sheer performance :D)

add back the GTX 295 to the list. Shouldnt like 2 x GTX 280 SLI be added to the list as well as like 2 x 4870 1GB CF?

Thats one bad can of worms, if we add even one multi card solution to the list we would have to completely redo the whole list for any and all card possibilities.

Ya, that's be scary to an extreme...

Especially since AMD's CFX can support CFX isn't limited to the same GPU
