why is the hd4830 above the 8800gts g92???

dunno. It shouldn't be.
When both are overclocked to their maxes the 4830 destroys the 8800GTS but stock for stock it's slower.

and no i broke 16k with my 8800gts the hd4830 only breaks 15 with when oced to the max.
compare the hd 4830 to my rig i have a q6600 at 3.6 they use a qx6850 at 3.68 i used 2gb of ddr2 they use 2gb of ddr3. when i oced my 8800gts to the max i get 16k as many other members here have heck merk broke 17 with a single 8800gts. the hd 4830 over clocked to the max on a better system then mine just gets past 15k. so even ocd the 8800gts is still faster.

3dmark is not favorable to the RV770s....especially when they are clocked as low as the HD4830.
In terms of gaming perofrmance add 2x-4xAA with a clocked 4830 and clocked 8800GTS side by side and the 4830 will come out on top

What about the original 8800gts? I think my pair would just about be on par with a 4830 even without the sli bridge as they are in there current state

Personally, It hink the 3850 512mb should be above the 640mb 8800GTS....I've had both cards and the 3850 was far superior in pretty much every way.

nope not at all man sorry the 8800gt is faster the the g80 8800gts the hd 4830 is faster then the 8800gt. i wonder abotu crossfire vs sli tho sli scales much better then cross fire now.

Are you sure poizen they sli just without the physical bridge its a on mobo connection I would go look up some stats but I am to heavily into a bottle of cognac.

the 8800gt is faster then the 8800gts g80 man no matter the situation. the hd 4830 is faster then it.
