Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

2.7ghz is about the max I can get out of a stable 1M run. at 2.75ghz I was at almost 1.5v and still getting errors. Ram was only running at ~DDR380

meh... I'll be doing some runs at higher clocks... I was just trying to find a stable clock first.

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

Yes. Your time seems consistent with that overclock. But you will get a bigger speed increase if you oc or tighten up the timings on your ram.

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

yeah, I'm actually having some unexpected problems with the ram... I'll be experimenting some more... but for now the ram is at 5-5-5-18 at around 943MHZ... pretty disappointing, but I'll probably be able to either raise the frequency or tighten the timings atleast a little.

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

Yeah that's no good. average speed/timings is 5-5-5-15 @ 1000mhz. Performance memory, Ballistics should be better. Do you have the old 2 sided ballistix or the newer one sided?
