sounds like an old win 9x dos loop. what happens if you type Windows<enter> or exit<enter> also is it NTFS or FAT?

Thanks for the help guys. Fortunately, I was able to find my backed up programs on CD. I've had it with this DOS crap. I'm just gonna do a fresh install.
