I take back my earlier comment about the foxconn board. It seems my craptastic Crucial ballistix were the problem yet again.

Lol, that sucks! Well guys, congratulate me as I just purchased my first computer!!! (all the others I ever purchased were to build for customers... or my family. I never actually had time to build my "own" until now :D)

I ended up changing a few things to make it $525 and to qualify for the "No interest for 6 months" with my preferred account! I changed the power supply to a 500W with more amps, then changed the GPU to the Asus 4830 with the better heatsink and fan. Although, with the different MIR's, it will be about the same. YAY ME!

Asus 4830 comes factory overclocked with the ram at 1000mhz(2000mhz effective) as opposed to 900mhz(1800mhz effective).

It helps, because my cards can't get over 950 without artifacts.

would I be running a risk with a 450w power supply on that setup with a 95w cpu 260w gpu and all the other items listed above?

4830 uses 110 watts under LOAD!!!

Right now I m using a 95 Watt CPU and TWO 4830s with the 380 EarthWatts PSU.

So yes, your PSU will handle that chip, and a single 4830 no problem.

Radeon HD 4830 262 Watt under load

Power Consumption Idle 100% CPU load
Athlon X2 7750 BE | 790GX 94 170
Athlon X2 7750 BE @ 3,2 GHz | 790GX 114 185

not to mention all the other components running at once 2 hd's fans/ 2 cd/dvd drives
I have been searching for a new power supply after doing some more research but, If you are able to do it without trouble. Im going to purchase that setup now.
thanks

Never mind I was wrong, 4830's use 110~ idle. Under load they go up to like 170~180 watts under full load. Well at least the Sapphire 4830's.

But no I don't think 262 watts under load is accurate.

If you had a case, and PSU laying around u could basically build what I'm running, minus the GPU, for about the same price..

I'm in love with this rig so far.. Minor bugs due to a crappy couple Maxtor HDD's..

Got my M3A32 Mobo and Phenom 9950BE for $333 as a deal thru Newegg (cheapest at that time) and got the Corsair Dominator 1066 4G RAM for $110.. Got my Powercolor 4870 1G for about $180...
