I have been getting the some problems with PZYCHOB!TCH ever since i installed SP2.

From time to time when I right click an icon, especially on the desktop

The error message I get is as follows :-

explorer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x032d415b" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

. [ OK ] [ Cancel ]

Any one getting this error???

Any suggestions on fix this???

I haven't had that problem on either my laptop or my desktop that run SP2. If nothing else you could always uninstall SP2.

Hmmmmmm..... might look into that.

Otherwise, I could do a fresh install as I have been meanng to do it for a while.

Although I would rather fix this problem as appose to re-install my OS

memory could not be written? do you also get page in non-paged area errors? sounds like memory is trying to be re written into the section allocated specifically for o/s function.

The only thing is how to do i go about sorting that problem out.

Before I when to work today, I did set my computer up for a complete virus scan.

well, if getting that error page fault in non-paged area... but damn, could be alot of things wrong and that is weird. what does event viewer say? any hints there?

No virus......

How ever as soon as I uninstalled SP2, I have not have the problem since.
