Help, my mobo won't detect a new hard drive i'm trying to install (as master). The hard drive is a Maxtor Fireball 3, i'm not sure what the mobo is but it's for the Celeron 1.3Ghz (tualatin core) processor.
I know the hard drive is fine. I tried it on my other computer and it worked perfectly.
My motherboard detects the floppy drive and cd-rom, but not the hard drive.
The jumpers on the hard drive are correct. Set to master.
The cables are working I tried and tested them.
I don't know what to do. Any help is appreciated thanks.
