yeah, the power needed to compute the advanced DX10 lighting effects like that is quite massive... stuff like that also tends to use quite a bit of framebuffer, so lots of memory and bandwidth will help out alot in that test

i'll post my score when i get rig working again (one of my cards is dying on me... probably have to rebuild the instruction sets ugh)

They seem about right to me.

They own gurusans highly overclocked 4870, so it seems about right. I dunno if his GTX280 is OC'ed at all. Also, it will run a bit better at a higher res... less CPU dependency.

i was running my gtx @ stock speeds.

ill go DL gpu-z and OC my card some and then repost scores.
that benchmark is long!

Not as bad as 3DMark06, that thing takes forever.
